Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry

The mission of the Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is to serve those who serve the young Catholic Church.  The office serves parish and school leaders by providing support and direction for a variety of ministries:  parish youth ministry, high school campus ministry, Catholic Scouting (BSA and GSUSA), Recreation, Safe Environment Program, parish young adult ministry, and college/university campus ministry.  The OY&YAM also coordinates diocesan direct-programs for young people such as the High School Youth Rally, Walking Stations of the Cross, Gospel Road, and the Diocesan Youth Council.

Strong Catholic Families; Strong Catholic Youth is a parish process that engages parents in reflecting, assessing, and actively sharing with parish leaders the specific support and formation they need to form their families in the Catholic faith.
