Gahanna St. Matthew Church, 807 Havens Corners Road, is sponsoring a concert featuring award-winning Catholic singer and songwriter Audrey Assad at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20.
The concert, part of the national “We Are the Beggars” tour, also will include guest appearances by the Ike Ndolo Band and international speaker and missionary Ennie Hickman of Adore Ministries.
“ This event is much more than a simple concert,” said Megan Thompson, Catholic Times columnist and minister for youth and young adults at St. Matthew. “It’s a way to showcase the reality that Catholic youth are called to use their gifts to glorify God and allow their faith to infiltrate the culture—in music, in fashion, in careers, and in all of society.
“Plus, because it a multiage and multiparish event, youth will be further convicted of the vastness and beauty of their Catholic family. For these reasons, we hope you prayerfully consider participating.”
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. To purchase tickets or for more information, contact Thompson at (614) 471-7556 or megan.thompson1027@gmail.com.
