If you’re experiencing the pain of divorce or going through the annulment process you’re sure to have many questions. These subjects often are fraught with confusion and misinformation that can cause undue stress. We’ll do our best to present the facts clearly for you here.
Bishop Frederick Campbell and the Marriage and Family Life Office of the Diocese of Columbus are deeply committed to the sanctity of the Sacrament of Marriage and of the family. Marriage Preparation
What Marriage Means in the Catholic Church: The marriage covenant is a union by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life and which is ordered by its nature to their good and to the procreation and education of children. A genuine marriage covenant is sacred and blessed by God, and it may never be dissolved except by God at the natural death of one or both of the couple.
