Training & Spiritual Growth

The Office of Liturgy is committed to the spiritual growth of all members of the diocese. In support of that commitment, we are available to help plan, organize or lead parish groups in a day (or evening) of prayer and reflection.

In the same way, we will help plan, organize or lead parish training for the different liturgical ministries. We are also available for other presentations for parish groups covering any number of liturgical issues.

The Office of Liturgy receives notices from neighboring diocese and other national groups for training opportunities which we will make available to parish groups and individuals. We will post them on this page as they become available:

This year’s Adult Confirmation is scheduled for 10:00 am, November 6, 2010, at the Cathedral of Saint Joseph. Forms will soon be available from the Office of Liturgy.

The Office of Liturgy will again offer a retreat (October 30, 2010) for those who will be confirmed and their sponsors. The retreat will be held at Ss. Peter & Paul Retreat Center, 2734 Seminary Road S. E. Newark, OH 43056. Forms will soon be available from the Office of Liturgy.
